Advocacy Committee

The Advocacy Committee promotes awareness of regulatory, legislative, and public policy issues impacting clinical research while supporting education and public understanding of the profession and protection of research participants.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Supporting SOCRA’s mission by promoting awareness of issues affecting clinical research professionals and the protection of human research participants.
• Providing educational resources to members regarding regulatory, legislative, and public policy developments impacting clinical research.
• Promoting understanding of the role of clinical research professionals in safeguarding research integrity and participant welfare.
• Advancing the profession through nonpartisan, mission-aligned education and public awareness activities consistent with SOCRA’s status as a 501(c)(3) organization.
