Dear SOCRA Members and Colleagues,

It is with tremendous gratitude, humility, and excitement that I begin my term as President of the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA). I am honored to lead an organization dedicated to advancing clinical research education, professional excellence, and collaboration worldwide.

Throughout my career, I have remained passionate about education, mentorship, and creating opportunities for others to succeed. I believe leadership is not defined by the title we hold, but by the impact we make, the relationships we build, and the doors we open for others.

Reflecting on the success of our 35th Annual Conference, Pioneering New Pathways in Clinical Research, I am reminded of what makes SOCRA extraordinary—our members! Your dedication, expertise, and passion continue to inspire me.

As clinical research evolves through emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, and regulatory advancements, we have an opportunity not simply to embrace change, but to help lead it.

My vision for SOCRA focuses on three priorities:

    1. Advancing Education and Professional Excellence: Expanding opportunities for education, certification, and professional growth.
    2. Strengthening Collaboration and Global Engagement: Building meaningful partnerships, fostering connections, and elevating the voices of clinical research professionals.
    3. Embracing Innovation with Integrity: Advancing research through innovation while maintaining our commitment to participant safety, ethical conduct, and regulatory excellence.

SOCRA’s greatest strength is its members. Whether you are beginning your career or have dedicated decades to clinical research, your contributions matter. As President, I am committed to leading with authenticity, listening with intention, and creating opportunities for us to grow together.
